SOLD
I've got a 1990 CRX Si for sale in northern Indiana.
It's dependable and has got a lot of pep for a little N/A 1.6L. I really hate to sell it because I've put some much work into it, but I need a car with more room. I am looking to sell this for a down payment for a new car or will entertain a trade for a larger car or even towards a larger car with money on my end.
For trades, I don't have time for another project, so I need something complete and must be mechanically sound/dependable.
Info:
1990 CRX Si 186k on chassis
Engine:
w/ D16A (JDM VTEC) - rebuilt when we dropped it in...8k miles ago
Hybrid transmission - ZC 1-4, Si 5th & FD
No name header
Full Thermal exhaust w/ high flow cat
Exedy Stage 1 Racing Clutch
Fidenza lightened flywheel
VAFC-1 for VTEC engagement
AEM Cold Air Intake w/ AEM Bypass Valve
Newer Radiator - little over a year old
B&M Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator - just upgraded when the old one went out about 6 months ago
Short shifter
New Odyssey 680 Dry cell battery - about 2 months old
Suspension:
Tokico Illuminas 5-way adjustable w/ Tokico lowering springs - new - put on 3 months ago
Suspension Techniques Rear Sway Bar
TenzoR upper front strut bar
Electronic/other:
Pioneer head unit and new pioneer speakers front and back
EDM Rear Spoiler
JDM Amber Corners
JDM Stanley Side markers
88/89 Taillights
New front lip
New windshield - hood flew up 1 month ago...'new' hood has been sanded down and primered black, new latch assembly and hood hinges. The hood has a slight bow on driver's side.
Complete interior
All parts above are in newer condition, put on within the last year and 1/2.
A couple issues:
Paint is chipping here and there, and also the door jams and hatch are different color (previous owner). Still doesn't look too bad though and I get a lot of compliments on it.
Door jam clicks when opening and closing - common CRX prob
Worn seats, but bolsters still hold great - common CRX prob
Slight water leak after it rains - common CRX prob
Hood as previously mentioned.
Oil leak at distributor - this is because it is still OBD-0 and not able to line up the third distributor mounting bolt. It's not enough that it has affected the level of oil though and timing is fine.
Dashboard is a little rough in middle from previous owner mounting VAFC on dash (dumbass)...it's now located in the glove box and whole has been plugged.
It's never seen snow (was a South Carolina car previously), but there is some small bubbling on one of the rear quarters. Very difficult to notice though and was there when I bought the car 2 years ago and hasn't gotten any bigger.
Pics:

Repaired climate control - epoxied and cover added. It’s very solid now.
Paint chipped when they put the new windshield in last month.
A couple older pics...

I have a few extra parts from another CRX I parted out a few months ago that I will include as well.
I have tried to get pictures of every flaw and describe to the best of my ability as to not waste your or my time. Just let me know if you have any questions or would like pictures of anything else or would like to come check it out.
Price:
$2600 w/ everything listed except for the wheels (will come on steelies)
or
$2100 on stock suspension (struts, springs and rear sway bar all stock)
*I'd really like to keep the wheels/tires since I just bought them 2 months ago for $600, but if you really want them we can work something out.
Let me know if you have any questions here or at doitdub@aol.com.
Justin
And, no, I won't part anything out.

No, don't plan on it. I just got it and just want to keep it a stock cruiser. I was planning on keeping both, but I just can't. Damn this car's so fun too...
If you're still looking when you sell your EK let me know. I'm in no hurry and I'm sure it would make the road trip home.
