Maaco Paint Jobs!?
Okay everybody im right about to get my car painted and was considering maaco i was gonna spend i'd say about $1000 for the paint job what do you guys have to say and if possible post your maaco painted cars thanks.
I've never had a macco job but i'm having mine painted on thursday as well. Look around a lot before you take the easy commercial way out. I've got a private painter doing my DC for $1200 which includes a new hood, rust removal, and repaired front end. Although i've heard good things about macco, you could most likely get a better job for the same price rance.
Here is mine. I paid 800 for it. Not bad. But a couple hundred more you can a way better paint job. Probably you are getting the integrated clear coat. It looks great during the day but when it's dark it looks dull...

ive heard and seen too many maaco stories. its only a bit more to get a way better lasting paint job. my homies that went to a better place got thier moneys worth. i know 2 homies who painted ej's, one went to maaco. his paint alreadi fading n ****. other homie paid like 400 more but got dents pulled out, new trims, much thicker paint and ***** no where near fading. if your gonna throw a couple hundred up for a paint, you might as well get a nice one. itll pay off in the long run

I'm planning on getting my 91 Civic Si hatchback painted. i was wondering if that 500 dollar paint job was including dings and small dents. Was prep included with this 500 dollar paint?
NO its not. If you want to get an idea bout it. The rex that you sold me is $900 in body work alone at maaco. Maaco charges like $100 for each door jam and openings. But every maaco differs. My last rex I paid $1050 for paint and bodywork and it came out pretty good. Just expect overspray and some orange peel.
