Ok, so I got my black (Berlina?) S2000 today!!!

Problem - the driver's side headlight is out, I replaced the (HID) bulb and it still does not work. I tested the bulb on the passenger side to verify the bulbs' functionality and it works fine, just won't work on the driver's side. Any ideas?

Wiring or have the ballast check.

 

check fuse.

 

Checked and confirmed that both drivers side and pass. side fuses work.
Checked and confirmed that both drivers side and pass. side relays work.
Checked and confirmed that both drivers side and pass. side HID bulbs work.

When I turn the lights on, the pass. side turns on and sounds normal. The drivers side does not turn on and make a click sound. What else can I check?

 

you need to check the hid balasts

 

yeah swap the ballasts and see how that goes. i hate that about buying a car and things die. my taillight bulb blew on the m3 i just picked up from the owner's house. lol

 

Swapped the balasts and determined that one was bad. Will have replaced by Monday. Thanks guys. As promised, here are some pics. Will do a photoshoot later next week. Heres some for now.
