Brakes feel mushy in Reverse.....

Brakes feel mushy in Reverse.....
Why do my brakes feel mushy/ almost go to the floor in reverse, or just after I put it in reverse. Do u think that is air in the system?
Ek- rear disk conversion from 99 si, proportion vavle, booster and master cylinder, new rotors and pads up front, machined rotors and new pads in the rear
I have vacume, not losing fluid to my knowledge, errr....I hate brakes
