JDM CRX Front END Conversion
OKay, I want to build a Front end conversion since all the online conversions give me crap I do not need. ALl I am buying is the front bumper, The hood and the headlights. However SOmeone has told me it will not fit my 1988 CRX without a si RADIATOR SUPPORT? What is the way togo about this while keeping it a strictly bolt on process?

I doubt you will save any money buying those parts separately. That is pretty much a complete front end conversion anyway. The only thing you are missing is the blinkers, spoiler and rad support.
As far as the radiator support goes:

Fenders are the same as the USDM other than the side blinker, no point buying new fenders when you can just add that yourself.

unless its from japan its not going to be true jdm. so why spend money on some fender from japan when u can buy a freakin side marker from like 20 bucks. u can try and try to be jdm but unless it was brought of by a ship than its still a usdm with jdm looks.

Oh my ****** god.....
Is it that hard, don't half of you have JDM Front Ends? Can nobody break it down for him?
And to the OP, you didnt research too hard. It's very simple:
-You DO NOT need JDM Fenders
-You DO NOT need a JDM Bumper support
-You DO NOT need JDM Radiator Support
-All you need is:
-JDM Hood
-JDM Bumper
-JDM Headlights
*While you CAN use USDM Cornelights with the headlights, they dont match up perfectly.
*You CAN use the USDM bumper support, but you'll have to not bolt in one bolt and slightly bend your bumper. Not recomended, but wont hurt anything.
*Some modification is needed to use the USDM Rad Support, as in slight bending forward, and washers to rais it up abit. Go to CRXCentral.com and the How To write up's and there's a write up, with 100% correct info.

I researched to do it correctly, not to insult but I'm not into washers and what have you.
This really depends on how bad you want to "rig" the setup. I was trying to set mine up as close to the "correct" way as possible. I can assure you that my write up is 100% correct. If you follow the steps you will have ZERO issues.
If you want to save more money by shimming, bending, cutting and using your old stuff...... well that's your prerogative
