WHAT size are the fittings on an eg power steering rack??
Does anyone know what size fittings the power steering fitings are off an eg? There are three holes isntead of two, i'm planning to buy some fittings so i can create a resevoir tank since i took out the power steering pump and assembly, though i'm still using the rack.
All in all I would need to know the power steering fittings and what size lines it would be. If not, I can try to reuse the fittings and just slip the SS hose over the hard line, but I'm not sure what size line it is.
THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR THE HELP!

From the front of the car, the far right fitting is a 14x1.5. Not quite sure what the far left fitting is but the middle should be 16x1.5. If you are going to use steel braided house, everyone usually uses -6an. If not then use 3/8 id reinforced tubing. Stealthmode performance.com makes a removal kit but it only uses two lines(all 3 should be looped). Im Padawan on here also. Here is a link also

i think i might reuse the fittings on the power steering assembly, cut the hardline, and slip a ss line over it. If anyone can confirm that the -6an line would slip over the hardline that would be great. I will probably hose clamp it as well since there would be no high pressure.
After i have the lines assembled, i was planning to make a custom can with 3 fittings coming out of it so it could hold the ps fluid. i figuired it would be cheaper as well so i wouldn't have to buy the 90 degree fitting to loop the lines like the stealthmodeperformance kit.
and the link that 2gst gave me, fittings are expensive when it comes to 90 and 180 degree bends, in this setup i plan on running there would be only 3 straight fittings which would run for like 2 bucks each. And if the -6 an line does fit over the hardlines, that would be great since i was planning to buy that size line for my fuel setup, and i can just use the left over. let me know
