Seriously, turn off your Caps Lock. Please try to avoid typing in slang; it does not translate well in print. Thank you, drive through.

i don't think anyone makes a turbo kit for the new civics yet and i'm not sure that the older kits would work, yeah the exhaust manifold would bolt right up but what about the rest like down pipe and i/c piping i don't know if they would work or not. um and i don't think any of the other typical bolt ons will do anything for u if u decide to go turbo cuz u can't use them if u r turbo'd. i would hold off on the turbo idea and think about what u want to do with the car first, stay na or go the fi route.

I sincerely doubt that an older turbo kit will work. The new motor is too different. You may be looking at supercharging; the new motor is too "green" for many mods.

Like the other guys said, I'd mellow it for a while. Learn more about your car! The biggest improvement you can make is in the steering wheel-seatback connector.

this is so funny that this whole toppic turned into a whole nother discussion and nobody has answered his question. Well i will be the cool guy and do it.
Ok, well dude they dont have a turbo out for ur car yet so u will have to wait for them to make one or calll around to some shops to see is they can fit an older kit in there like how 96&up civics yous the 92-95 kits. But if it cant be done and u have to wait, the best thing i advice u to do is continue to build up ur motor wit other stuff so that when u do get a turbo, u will have even more power because most mods put out more power on FI vehicles. aight man hope that helps.
Okay, good for you for helping this guy out. The reason nobody tried to help is because the guy came in and posted like a fucktard. I seriously doubt he can build his motor - who makes lower CR forged pistons and better rods for that motor?

By his posting manners (or lack thereof) and his GREAT decision in buying a new Civic only to try and turbocharge it when there is nothing for it yet, I'd say this guy deserves no help.

I only wish I had the kind of loot to blow on a brand new Civic and then turbocharge it - I'd have a much better car I'm sure.

The Nitto '01 Civic will be done up in a month or so. HKS is prototyping a Turbo kit for the D17. Of course a relatively conservative boost level & turbo will be used.
I'll be snappin some pics as soon as it's done.
PS-dat FDm **** is too funny.
How do I get FDM approved?
