For the curious: 205/45R17 fitment pixels

Got some Yokomama A520 tyres in the above size yes'day. Either yoko's run wide or the previous BFG's run narrow b/c the tyres now rub slightly at the rear fenders.
Mucho gracias to speedpak for taking my car to have the tyres installed

w/o further ado, here's da pixels:
is it a real car or a diecast model?

Maybe it's the tires.. 17's acutally looks good on a R with 205/40 tires. Not sure why 5% more will make such a big difference on looks and rubbing. My 205/40/17 never rub (rims have the same offset as Yoshi's) even if I tried and the car is lowered with near zero fender gap.

You guys think I can get away with 215/40/17 with +40mm wheels on a ITR?

hey yoshi,
on my 17 inch volks i run yoko a520's in 205/40/17 and they work and dont rub. I think the 45 series on a 17inch is too tall for the car.

Are you running 17x7.5 or 17x8?
