Default Nike MaxSights or tinted glasses on track?

Does anyone drive with amber/yellow or tinted glasses on track?

I mountain bike with amber glasses all the time, but always went with no-glasses on track. Just curious if any racers preferred a amber or yellow lens at speed.

I know some sunglasses feel awkward under a helmet, so has anyone tryed the Nike MaxSights?

yup.

I used to drive with a pair of Nike Interchange w. swappable lenses. I used the iridium lenses on bright days, and if it was overcast or raining Id use the yellow lenses.

Now I wear Native Silencers, another lens swap pair and I absolutely love them. The dark lenses are polarized, and it also comes with yellow, orange/rose, and clear. I used the clear when it was overcast and raining and they worked great. I wont go out on track without eye protection since I dont use my face shield.

I've got an amber visor for my helmet. My eyes seem to be light sensetive so color seems to wash out for me. The amber lens really helps me get alot of contrast. It took a little getting used to, but really works for me.

Interesting. I have always used normal tinted lenses and hadn't even thought about the color. Perhaps I'll have to try my shooting glasses at the next event...

I just have the ol' yellow anti-glare shooting glasses. They work great. Even on really sunny days

I will try them out. Hopefully my eye physician can help me out and let me try the trial pair, that would be cool. Thanks for the link, they look very interesting.

That's where I got the idea. I use amber glasses for steel plate shoots to get the contrast.
