BLeeding clutch...searched
okay so im tryin to bleeding my clutch on my ls i just put in my hatch and i cant get any kind of pressure cause the pedal falls imedtiately to the floor no matter what i do.i took of my MC when doing the swap so im guessing alot of air got in the lines...anyone have some suggestions for me cause im goin crazy tryin to get this swap done...please help
well it could only be 1 of three things slave cylinder clutch master cylinder or the hydraulic line but open the bleeder valve on the slave cylinder and have somebody push in the clutch pedal basically just bleed it the same as brakes if that doesnt work bench bleed the clutch master cyclinder that should solve your problem
how do i bench bleed the master cylinder?
also no matter how many times i bleed it the clutch goes to the floor without effort.i dont think any of the components are bad cause they all worked a week ago before i did the swap.

the clutch is always gonna go to the floor when bleeding it. the clutch doesnt get pedal pressure like the brakes do. think about it, the clutch is always supposed to go right to the floor. bleed them like regular brakes untill theres no air coming out of the line.

bump cause noone uderstands what im saying... no matter how many times i pump the clutch then bleed the valve and reclose the valve and pull up the clutch it still stays on the floor at all times...plus i have a vacuum hose goin to a bottle of brake fluid and still nothing is working....im goin to buy a vacuum bleeder today cause i think i just have way to much air in the system to get it out the regular way...can anyone confirm my theory of why its not getting pressure?

Funny thing about EG and EK Civic clutch slave cylinders: You don't have to close the valve between pumps. Just fill the master cylinder, open the valve and pump the clutch pedal 7 or 8 times with your hand, refill, repeat until you're positive that there isn't any more air in the lines. Some of you won't believe me, but this is how I've done the past 3 or 4 swaps that have come through my garage and the clutches have all worked like a charm

Oh, thats right, i had to pull my clutch pedal back up myself too. Just do it untill the air is out, close the valve and see what happens.
