Ok so I found the fuel pump in my '88 CRX to be bad but i don't want to spend alot of money on this thing cause I'm just going to use it for a beater work car. If anyone has a used fuel pump let they will sell me please let me know. Thanks

Does the check engine light come on,then go off a few seconds later?

If not check under dash fuse #14 labeled alternator,solenoid..
It provides power to the main relay:

Well I checked power to the pump and there was nothing- fuse 14 good. I removed the relay and checked all the wiring-good. When I jump across #5 and #7 I had power at the pump but it didn't kick on. So I guess I need a new main relay and a pump. Thats weird that both aren't working. Thanks for the help.

 

replace the main relay because...youll have to soon anyway :D

Worst comes to worst, you are replacing parts that need it soon anyway and they might/probably solve your problem.
