yea its the real deal, just wondering what people would pay for one? i dont see that many floating around that are "REAL".

 

a mid wing? like the spoiler **** that kinda goes in the middle of your hatch rather than on the top of it? i wouild pay nothing for it, id burn it

didnt know mugen had a midwing for the hatch, got any pics of it? i knew they had a wing for the crx and a top add on wing for the hatch but havent seen a mugen mid wing. and a friend of mine has the mugen brochures for the crx and hatch., send me some pics.

that wing looks like the vis copy, due to not having the box on the left side of the car for the honda logo. i have an original on my car. and that looks like a fake to me. may not be. but vis did make an alright copy, but like i said earlier i know of a mugen ef9 brochure a couple of houses down from mine and ive never seen a mugen mid wing. but ill check again tomorrow. that wing if its a copy may be worth about a 100 bucks. sorry, dont get pissed at me cause u asked.

 

also if u were to keep the wing the sir is suppose to be on the wing not on the taillight trim piece. and id reccomend replacing the back bumper if u r gonna rock the 88-89 side moldings and the sir front bumper. other than that clean ef. enjoy

just so you know what im talkin about with the honda and sir logos. the r on mine is about gone due to being original and about 15-18 yrs old.

 

is that the spongy one? those things are freaky. im not big on any wing at all ever, but that one i maybe would not tear off my car if i bought it that way, if it was authentic mugen. my question is how do you know its real? and put it on ebay. the jdm kids on ebay love to pay tons of money for authentic ef mugen parts.

 

mugen ones are foam rubber like a nerf ball and the side would have a indent with a mugen logo. its just like the first gen integras had a stock option mugen spoiler. i had a chance to get for our AV1 but the dude sold it. if its real it will be foam looks like a wings west spoiler .only worth around 150 new from them or might i say VIS.

 

if i had the money and a hatch, id pay about 150 for it, real mugen or fake.. no more than 150.. that **** is sexy

 

the one i have on my car is the foam spongy type, mines not a "mugen" mine is the honda oem optional wing.


sxekid what did u use for sideskirts? car looks good dont get me wrong. just didnt think mugen made a midwing for the ef hatch.

thats the difference between u and a jdm enthusiast, someone who loves the oem optional items that came in japan like myself and someone who doesnt care for the rareness and originality of the car like you, if u dont like it thats fine, opinions are like ********, everybody has one. but keep rockin your single cam us style car and ill keep rockin my dohc oem japanese style car.

because im not going through all the headache of tryin to get it registered or doing a front end conversion. plus i like to be able to see when i try to pass someone. trust me , i know how hard it is for people w/ rhd conversions to drive over here, a couple of friends of mine have em and ive heard their stories, plus its more of a pain shifting, anyways. it was all if good fun, dont get all worked up about it. i catch alot of hell for my wing but i like it. have fun

 

i have a ef9 wing i just sold for 250

it was spongy & had the indent for the honda logo

i believe honda & mugen midwings = same thing diff. badge

who the hell cares? it looks alike & is of the same caliber.

they're heavy as crap and will blow out your hatch shocks

 

the white car isnt mine. but i do have a mid wing

and it does have the indent for the honda or mugen logo. ITs the hella heavy spongy kind too.

Those wings just look pointless to me. The hatch came with a wing at the top of the hatch. What in the world could ANOTHER wing do for your drag, speed, and lastly looks. There's a very biased side to this forum. Out with the unnecessary and stick to stock. So if you ask a bunch of "rock it stock" oem pushing kinda guys of course we'll say eckk. But listen if you need someone to tell you it's gross...ok.."it's gross take it off" But if you want to hear it's cool...well i just can't do that b/c it looks horrible and serves no purpose. I'm sure you'll make the right choice. haha

OEM ftw Its kinda cool if your the mid wing type, but that last dudes right their is already a wing on the hatch and that one looks good another one isnt necessary its just plain tacky IMO. If your trying to get in the JayDeeM MuGEn l33t club then sure go for it offer them what its worth to you, and as you can see most of this crew on here would offer like 100, 150 if they would even buy it. Ofcourse you never know that dude might want something outrageous, because I mean cmon it is "authentic" mugen sooooooo good luck with that whatever you decide to do have fun with your car its yours do whatever ya want hell put 5 wings on there if you think its cool

 

honda never made a option mid wing. if its foam its mugen. that would be the same as the first gen integra's it was a mugen option spoiler. and if it is real foam it will be way more then $150. $150 buys a bootleg copy .

 

id love to have one...*** the real **** tho..i'll get a knockoff siR spoiler. im not BIG on the look but i dont mind it...but its siR so id rock it

i bought a hatch that had one of those mid-wings on it. im pretty sure it was a replica. But yeh, i ripped it off and broke it on a tree.
