Default Mugen pedals

Does anyone have pics of the mugen pedals on their car? Is there an alumimum base for the foot rest?

You don't seem very happy...I found this for you on my webspace:

The picture isn't that great and the clutch pedal is dirty, but you get the idea.

From my understanding, you will have to peel off the black rubber pedals in order to install Mugen pedals.

That is correct. No need for black rubber pedal covers when you have a "nickel-chrome blown metal non-slip surface"

Yes...I have yet to clean mine since I put them on over a year ago (that's when I took the pic). The clutch pedal seems to be quite dirty (I think most of it is rubber off the sole of my shoes).

thks again. kind of hoping mugen would have added a foot rest pedal to go with the others. Kind of want the OEM kit look but with the mugen grip.

Yes, that was intentional...Sort of an F-YOU to all the thieves out there. Supposedly the car numbers aren't traceable, but better safe than sorry...

These were on special at the sydney auto expo, so i bought one.

Does anyone else have this particular set? I guess the yellow matches the colour of the car, but damn... it's gonna get pretty dirty. Wonder how long the colour will last. How do they go functionality wise?

I would so love to have those mugen ones..

Well, I don't have that colour, those are Momos, right?
I've got black rubber parts on mine, with yellow writing, and no dead pedal cover.
Dirt hasn't been an issue on mine, being black.
Functionality-wise
Definitely makes heel-toe easier, and is grippier than stock.

Foot rest ownz for when you don't have a harness and your seat belt is not locked. I use it to push my self into the seat on hard turns.

No, I didn't drill or remove the old rubber.
Just clamped it on over the top. The accelerator pedal was a pain, but I eventually found an angle where the clamps would fit snugly.

Really? I'm surprised. Not that the dead pedal needs a $100 Mugen cover, but I use it all the time. Keeps tension in my lower body so that I can relax my upper body. Otherwise, it's Captain Death Grip! LOL, I can't help it

I don't know how I could live without the dead pedal.
