it's not just a simple wire cut

if you don't mind not having high beams, you can just disconnect the connectors at each bulb, otherwise it's tied into a bunch of other things

Look in the manual. And find your fuse box picture.. I think the DRL fuse is 36? Just pull it out

Pull out fuse 37...simple as that. Thanks Caveman. This was done on an SI, but should be the same for non-SI's.

haha...just because I guess. Never really understood lights for daytime. I know they're suppose to be helpful...but c'mon, how hard is it to see a car in day light?

Personal preference. I think the car looks cleaner w/o DRL's on during the day. Eh, to each his own.

Well, it has been proven that DRLs increase a vehicles visibility in day light. I kind of like the DRLs on my Si. I've thought about disabling them, but not sure if I really want to.

incorrect. the fuse 37 covers ONLY the daytime running lights, high beams still function. i did this because i personally like to drive with my running lights on (amber corners and tails). personal pref, and i think it looks a lot better with them on and no dim bulbs. on a side note, i def keep them if they were anything like the jdm city lights, maybe a new retrofit with them to draw up the design to!
