Default vtec not hitting

hey whats up guys i have a ls vtec on my crx and everything is hooked up right it was hitting vtec before but it just stoped checked to c if any wires where lose but everything is ok what could it be????

im thinking its low oil or a clogged vtec solenoid.

the vtec solenoid is clean what else could it be?

i seocond the low on oil is your oil light on?is it all hooked up right and got good tight connections?

i did once have the dizzy go bad and caused my vtec not to work, but the car was also on limp mode.

also can be a bad knock sensor.

i just changed the oil the vtec is not workin so what else could it be the wiring is done right it has good oil its either the knock sensor,vtec selinoid.???

yea but wouldnt it throw a code if it was the dizzy?have u tried testing the vtec silnode?

today i ran the codes and its throwing the knock sensor code can that cause the car not 2 hit vtec

the knock sensor is just a ground on the engine..to override it all you have to do is take out the knock sensor wire from the plug...either de-pin or cut...personally i'd depin until i get a new one..but all you have to do is just ground it out somewhere on the block..adn presto...you have Vtec again..

yeah thanx i thank you very much the funniest thing happend today another mustang tried 2 race me today it was a 2003 mustang gt 5spd and i was driving and he started reving and lauphing me at me so when we hit the stop light we both took off my first was burning quite a bit but as soon as i got into 2nd and when it stoped burnin umm late 2 him i beat him honestly like by 10-15 cars at least
