VTEC killers put the car in VTEC all of the time, not the other way around. Read a lot more and you may begin to understand, my young padawan.

lol, I would broaden my knowledge about engines a little more before making bold statements like that one.

true true.but we all know an engine being on vtec at all times would have a very hard time starting and idling. now... if you knew abut engines litle more you wouldnt make that comment to begin with..altho the part in wich you said to read more before speakin...i exept that argument.
same thing goes to what Kouki-EK9 said.cmon... im sure you 2 know a lot about engines. im not calling you guys dumb nor do i want to start a fight.just think about what i said.

Killer cams keep the oil pressure consistant and pretty much a DOHC engine but when the cams come into the powerband it's an amazing feeling.

That setup was originally designed for road race motors and a good idle was not a primary concern.

I know more about Honda engines than you will ever know.

Like I said, read a bit more. If you sick with it and learn, a couple of years from now you will read your posts from 2006 and be a little embarrassed about how little you knew.

Those cams are for track use. If you slap 'em on and use it as a daily driver, you're fuel economony won't be so great. Like B16coupe said, it actually enables it on VTEC. Well, it doesn't activite the VTEC, but the high lift cams act as if they are.

exactly.. as posted by b19coupe... the Toda Vtec Killers.. are not meant to be street cams.. they are a full-road-race purpose built cam that is strictly for racing engine's.. not for regular street cars what-so-ever.. since the cam lobe profiles are as their name presents.. replaces the actual VTEC change-over.. and the motor runs on (VTEC equivilant) lobe's all the time.. read up on these things more often.. and you will prevent future n00b posts like this...

why would it be hard to start the car or get it to idle? peopel say this about all kinds of cams all the time but with the right tune their should be no problems.

these are meant for drag cars that are in the upper rpm's almost all the time, not for street cars
