Car is 89 civic dx with 1'st gen B16a, using hondata s200 w/ basemap.
Tuner says this map work all the time at this altitude for NA B16's.

I may have put saturated injectors in by accident instead of peak and hold. I'm currectly using injector resistor box, which from my understanding is only supposed to be used with peak and hold injectors.

The car is running extremly rich. It has no street time yet, just 30 minutes or so idle time in the garage. I'm afraid I'm going to wash the rings out, so HELP me out here if you can give any insight.

If I were running saturated injectors and using a resistor box, would it lead me to run rich???? Wold it even run at all????

 

unplug the connectors at the injectors and measure the resistance of the injectors with a multi-meter. if there are between 10-16ohms the they are saturated no resistor box needed.

if they are under 4ohm then they are peak-hold and you need the resistor box.

I'm not sure if running the resistor box with saturated injectors will cause you to run rich......but it would defiantly not run properly and you could cause some damage.

i would not run that engine much more until you have all that sorted out or you may run into some problems.
