Coupes with canards?
What are peoples opinions on carbon fiber canards on civics? i have a 99 silver coupe with a cf hood, back rims, its a nice car not the typical ricer stuff, and its got 350hp so is it worth of canards or no? anyone have pics of em?
I don't think its up to others to decide whether or not you should have canards...its your car and your tastes, do something that you'll like and enjoy.

yeah i know, but with canards you have to drill into your bumper, which means if i dont like em, i have to get the bumper fixed, so i am lookin for pics and peoples opinions on em....i like em on WRX and Evo's but i just dont know if they will look right on a civic

Not a big fan of canards period but I do realize they <U>serve a purpose on real track cars</U>. Otherwise I think it looks goofy but that's just my opinion and probably doesn't matter to you.

Do you want to make your car look like a fake track car?</TD></TR></TABLE>
I think just about everyone on here tries to make their car a track car, or at least resemble one. It's so easy to get track time with your car, so why do you say fake? A lot of people on here actually DO get on the track... so then is it ok?

well they dont work too well on the drag strip. great for road racing/HPDE. There are just some people out there that put track parts on their car and enter show cars.
the OP asked for opinion on them, so i said what i think was best.
to the people that do make use of these.
for the people that just like to front these.

I get the carbon prepreg and materials from my work....
i also can make them in fiberglass which is alot easier...
But as of now i dont rock them, need to make more

I still want a set. Put them on, be different.
Most people don't rock em.
It's just liek saying the rear duckbill is pointless.. it's a style, mainly for looks. Let people rock em, as they do rims, lips, or whatever else makes their car appeal to them more.
