Ok so I was changing over my suspension tonight and adding a few things. As im taking the hardware off of the right rear shock, I take off the top-hat and the top 1/2 of the spring is sitting in it. It broke. In half! I don't think I have seen this happen. I suspect it is because of the blown shock in that same location. No pics yet because I didn't bring my camera to the garage.

Now these things are about 3 years old. You don't think Eibach or Ground-Control would give me a new set would you?

im pretty sure theyre warrantied for life. contact either gc or eibach and im sure theyll help you out.

yah eibach springs are lifetime warrantied, just give em a call and im pretty sure they'll just send you out a new spring if you send in the broken one for inspection.

Yea I had no clue. I knew the shock was bad but ****.

I plan on it. Its rusted because it apparently has been broken for a while now.

Ok to anyone who's ever considerings a new suspension product, obviously choose Eibach!

 

Great example of a good company standing by their warranty! DEFINITLY makes ME feel better about my set of GC's/Eibach's!

 

can anyone name a company that has NOT publicly redeemed their warranty?

just curious.

I agree, but I think this is going one step beyond the warantee.

 

ive seen oem honda springs do that all the time.

i know mine did when i replaced mine

 

to eibach for replacing those springs, thats crazy, I've never seen anything like that before.

 

east coast salt in the winter...repeatedly can cause that...thats nuts! lol
