Default Installed my civic radiator into my DC4 today(Added custom overflow tank)

No radiator and no a\c components, where did they go?

Oh, there they are.

The replacement-

radiator in and hoses hooked up-

Everything hooked up and running(ignore the intake, it was on the car when I bought it)-

Pics of when I installed my Skunk2 shifter, Skunk2 ****, prothane bushings, ITR shift boot and ITR armrest eliminator-

Been busy.

More to come later.

Do you think you can do a DIY on how you moved the bottom mount's for the radiator ?
Looking good, I also need to get this done. I've moved my fans to pusher then I stoped.

I didnt do that, I found that it wasnt necessary. What I did is use a hose bracket for the lower a\c line(it bolts to the lower radiator support) and I just bent it so it held the radiator, worked out pretty well, its in there nice and solid.

this goin to be silly question but dont you think the radiotor is goin to be too weak and small for the motor. i think you should put back the stock or buy a new one for it but thats just me.

There are plenty of guys running half radiators because their turbo setups are too large to run a full size Integra radiator. With a good fan on there, I see no reason why a dual core civic radiator would have any problems keeping things cool...especially for him having a stock engine.

I am thinking of doing something like this because my A/C doesn't work and I have no room between the turbo manifold and the stock fans/radiator.

Its main purpose was to cool a small 1.5 70hp motor...

But i've seen guys running massive turbo setups with no problem.

If im not mistaking there was this one guy runnin a turbo h22, using the civic Rad.
I believe he had some heating problems, but he got that taking care of.
You just gotta be more aware and stuff...

Why did you install the radiator? Any future plans that would warrant a smaller, dual core radiator. Or did you do it for looks?

actually NO. thats a dual core radiator he has. so, at best its for a del sol vtec with the dohc b16... not that its much bigger, but you get the point.

I have ran a civic radiator with an H22 in the past with no issues at all(NA).

The purpose? I blew my radiator adn i have another H22 planned in the near future, I will need the clearance for the header, so I decided just to throw it in now.

people run dual core and single core civic rads without any issues. I'll be switching out my full size Teg radiator as well.

Used the stock plug from the stock fan, just wired it to the new fans wiring, and plugged it in. Ran a jumper in the temp switch plug to test to make sure everything worked. I knew it would, but always good to double check.

On a side note, I took the car out today and pushed it HARD to see if I could get her heated up, nothing doin, cools just fine.

I was able to track this down for the doubters that this is a good setup to run-

My old civic running a similar set up with an H22, no cooling probs whatsoever-

Why would you want to get rid of your armrest?

I was thinking the same thing... I wish my DB1 had a ******* armrest. The USDM optional armrest goes from like $50-$150, it sucks.

I wanted to do an H swap in my Integra (90 sedan) when I got it, but decided to swap to manual and a B20B, now Im going LSVTEC. Anyway, H22 Civic/H22 Integra FTW y0...

Also ditched my armrest.

This is as far as I got, still need to install the half-size radiator. I'm hoping for enough room to have a good size intake arm for my turbo.

I just finished mocking up my pwr 1/2 size rad tonight. It came out waaayy better than i thought. I used the drivers side oem radiator bottom mount by using a chisel and hammer to remove (cleaned up the rough edges with a grinder) and used a self tapping metal screw to secure it in place in the correct location for the 1/2 size. I was also able to use the top oem bracket by moving it over and drilling a hole just a bit smaller than the oem bolt and it basically tapped its own threads when i bolted it down....... ill try and post some pics this week.......

btw- my motor is removed from the engine bay, this install is much easier when working from inside the bay....... lol
