what's the biggest FMIC that would fit behind my EG hatch bumper ?

I don't' want to cut out my grill, I want my car to be a sleeper,
I don't' it to BLING, but I still need something good to flow 300whp

just mounted this yesterday...you don't need one this big either...i would get the precision 350 HP intercooler...thats perfect unless you plan to make more power later on..this one is HUGE though and still fit my bumper on no problem...had to hack the inside of bumper but still looks stock

you want the biggest intercooler you can fit....
but you want to be a sleeper?
and you don't want to cut up the bumper?
and all for 300whp?

wow...ricers and their post...

but, if you're doing 300whp, just grab a small precision copy off ebay and throw that in there and paint it black. no need fora giant intercooler when you won't be using it

DRAG III FMIC, ~ $200 used all day long and they're good to 400whp+

You can probably hit 300whp with a good tune and no intercooler.

So your viewpoint has no validity? Other than how one looks?

My core "looks" just as good as any other sub $300 tube-fin intercooler, and will definately support my goals.

I like the way your front bumper is set up to fit with your IC. Im using the Precision Large, which is very huge, i want to trim my bumper to fit it and let it circulate freely. I already cut out my grill, although there is still the other half the IC which you can't let circulate...
Did you use a dremel to do that to your bumper or did you buy it like that? Thanks

I didnt' realise you could fit one that big, I though I was restricted to smaller FMIC.

I was asking because I find mine pretty large now, and was worried that it wont fit like I want it too.

i dont' care about the biggest fmic,
i just want a very efficent setup, with out cutting corners.

this guy is not the brightest crayon in the box...jrsc are very popular in cars with less than 300 or right around 300 whp...my friend has one and lots of people run them. But ebay intercoolers are cheap so you can take your chances hell you could get an awesome deal on one...but you cant look at two cores and compare.

Well unless the welds have holes in them, all welds work the same especially on aluminum. aluminum welding is so hot that both metals are forced to form together. I weld aluminum all day long for atleast 5 days a week.

For 300 I would just go with something like the drag intercooler.

well if 300 is all you are aiming for, the drag is fine. this was fine for 330 till my clutch went out.

this a need not a want. now there is a t3t67 h.o. residing in there and this is now necessary.
