finally finished.

finished product:

i had to lower my car to get rid of the gap, but there's still a lot of gap left. the tires are way too small for the accord. i have 205/40/16 in the front and 20/45/16 in the rear (that's how i bought the wheels). the braking power is crazy! especially because my car had rear drums, but now it's stops A LOT better. i'm very happy with the setup. i think i'm going to send the extra set of wheels i have to get it refinished in the stock itr gunmetal color (kaiser silver) and sell these wheels. way too much white on the car...lol.

you ask and you shall receive!!!
here are the pictures after i cleaned her up today:

i feel the same way, the wheels are a bit small. i have an extra set of itr wheels that i will be refinishing it to the itr stock gunmetal (kaiser silver) and getting 215/50/16 tires on em. the itr's are just my beater/daily wheels. i'm looking for some 17's either volk/advans/mugen, whatever i can get at a good deal.
thanks for the compliments and comments guys.

I don't think the rims are too small. The rims look fine, the gunmetal color would probably look a lot better, but just get the right size tires and it'll be fine. IMO
on the conversion

jdm_cd7: i have an extra set that i'm selling in the classifieds...but i might keep those, get it painted gunmetal and sell the ones i have on my car now. i'm 90% leaning towards that direction.
touringaccord: i agree, they dont look TOO small, just a tad bit. i'm in the process of getting 205/50/16 tires from my friend in a few days. it's a used set of tires, but i'll hold me over till the other wheels are done.
jake: to me it's the coolness factor + jdm factor. true, cd gen. accords did not come with 5 lug, but i wanted 5 lug to get the itr wheels and other jdm wheels that are easy to get in 5x114.3. 4x114.3 wheels are hard to come by compared to 4x100 and 5x114.3. since i was converting from drum to disc in the rear, i figured just tackle the 5 lug at the same time.
thanks for the compliments!!

Dont worry it isnt a waste of time liek jake says, it looks really good and u have good options now for rims. the day pics look 100000 time sbette rthen the night pics did, i think it was just the tires are black and its night so it blended in.. Update though when u or if you get new rims on the car

also better braking and easier to do brake jobs with the conversion.

So for the front you used:
-95 Odyssey front knuckles
-ITR rotors and pads
So therfore I assume you used the ITR caliper and caliper bracket. Does the ITR caliper bracket bolt right on, or is there some modifying to do?

i guess there are things that matter more to me than spending money on being jdm or having options for 5 lug wheels. for me its function over form.

uhm better braking is not functional? converting rear drums to discs, larger rotors, and getting rid of the stupid hub over rotor design for easier brake jobs is not functional? its is to me.
