water coming out of exhaust pipe..normal?
on my 91 integra..i've been noticing water on the exhaust tips and sometimes when i leave my driveway there will be water on the ground.
i just revved it up in my driveway now and a decent amount of water shot out a good two feet.
never dealt with this before. normal?

Yeah bro, It's normal, I live in cali the highest octane I can get is 91. My car still does it, unless I run an octane booster...you'll be alright don't worry to much about it...
I get it bad man. when my car warms up in the morning there is usually a fatty spot of moisture about 2 feet past my tip. doesnt seem to effect anything though so i never worried about it.

try to use Stabilizer one of those pink bottle to prevent moisture..what it does it suppose to kept ur gas fresh. i've used on my car that's hiberated during winter time...
i dont think he is saying it happens when it sits. my car does it even on a fresh tank of gas. my guess is that a lot of it is from running rich in the morning and having some unburnt fuel get spit out thru the exhaust. that is what makes the most sense to me at least.
Well, a bi-product of combustion is water vapor, and in cooler temperatures, it is normal for the water to be in a liquid state, in stead of a gaseous state. It is completely normal. It doesn't mean that you have bad gas, its just at certain temperatures the exhaust will do this.
Dont worry about it, its how an engine breaks down gas. Air and gas turn into carbon monoxide and water. The cat makes the carbon monoxide safe, it turns into carbon dioxide with sulfur dioxide in the cat (which is why egg farts happen lol) and the water from the first reaction flows thru to the exhaust pipe. Can you tell Im going to college to design this **** lol? Anyways, long story short, its safe and should be expected.
