im trying to program my 800hf new remote, and when i am supposed to hear conformaiton chirps, there is nothing...? what should i do?

but the red light does flash

 

turn on ign.
push button # of times for the channel you want to program
then push once more and hold.
siren should chirp # of times you pushed the button
push transmitter button
siren will give short sound
let button go
cut off key

 

i did that it doesnt chirp
