Default pics (and how to run) of my SFP manifold on my h22a

what a pain in the *** it is to be different. Could have gone the easy route and got the DRAG, but I always got to be different.....

To run it on the h22a, u need custom piping (given), cut the front motor mount a lot, custom AC lines (if u have AC) and a really tight turning downpipe, the biggest trim that would fit was the 54, 57 was sitting on the block. and cut ure fan or run a slim line

Good luck on the custom piping! Looks like the discharge pipe will run run over that A/C line?

hey mark, same thing would've happend to me. i was gonna use the same manifold. but i saw that it mounts the turbo down below and the size turbo i am gonna use would be too big to fit and it would hit the front mount. that is why i got the DRAG turbo kit for accord/h22. it sits the turbo on the top and it is a very easy install, no mount in the way, no a/c probs. i see that you are located in florida. where in florida are you located? i also have a h22 in my 95 accord and im getting ready to boost it here in fl. hope things go ok for you with the manifold and the rest of your setup.

mark, quick word of advice. if you want to keep your A/C i recommend STRONGLY put some sort of thermal wrap over your A/C hose that is near your manifold. My turbo burned a hole through the rubber lines and shot out all my antifreeze the other week. This also happened to one of my other friends. Your engine bay looks good!

Do you think that the wastegate dump tub would be better positioned if it were opposite the turbo?

the dump tube will be custom made, routed down close to the block under the car

I plan to put some temp rap on it, its just a matter of time to get the car from the shop to an AC place and have the lines drained and pulled.

the discharge pipe might route under the AC line, battery is relocated so i have all sorts of room

i live in tampa, I plan to have a drive out to the gaineville race in 2 weeks if ure interested, register on my board at http://www.accordclub.com and leave email notification on. I would have gone with the drag manifold, but I really just dont like the top mount turbo. and even the top mount turbo will restrict your turbo size more then the SFP, as you can see, im running a good sized turbo (t3/t04e 54 trim, 63 ar ball bearing)

I dont understand how trim sizes have anything to do with it.. unless those two different trimmed turbos had different compressor housings. You can have a 54 and 57 and even a 50 trim all fit the same if they use the same housing. The trim is just the type of wheel in the housing.

54-57 trim was a SLIGHTLY larger housing, im telling you. I have 2 turbos, t3/t04e 54 trim 63 ar and t3/t04e 57 trim 63 ar, and the compressor is bigger.
