My friend has a 88 crx w/ a 89 Si motor ..I am wondering how do you read the engine light..that is on.plmk..thanks

 

lift up the carpet that is against the passenger-side footwell. You will see a gold plate with a little light in the middle... count the blinks. Long blinks are equal to 10.

 

Pull back the carpet in the passenger footwell. There should be a brass colored plate covering the ecu with a little window. Count the number of blinks and then go here to find out the code. http://www.hybrid.honda-perf.org/tech/codes.html

do i have to stick like a paper clip in a connector or anything like that ..?cause that what i hav to do in my integra..i am wondering is it the same..for the crx
