GST turbo system in 94 accord ex????
alright here's the story.....my friend has a 97 gst eclipse with a blown motor, the turbo and it's system is still good.......and he said i could just take it off his eclipse since it just sits there, it's the whole system the turbine, manifold, side mount intake, all that stuff with some extras like a turbo timer and a greddy type s blow off valve... i have a 94 honda accord ex, and just wondering if it is possible to stick that whole turbo system into my accord????????? or what would i have to do or get to make it possible?????? also what's the compression ratio accord ex's have such as mine???????????????????????????
Manifold probebly wont fit. You wont be able to use any of the plumbing. Thats gotta be custom made. Everything else is a toss up as well. Your compress is ok with a turbo I think.
you can use some stuff...
intercooler, turbo, bov, turbo timer, intjectors, maybe some piping
but not everything...you will have to get most piping custom made...and some fuel management
oh, and your compression is 8.8:1

you will probably have to buy have a shop make custom piping and buy/fabricate a turbo manifold. the turbo will definately work. your compression on your f22b1 is 8.8:1 and that is fairly low, so it should be fine with at most 7-8 psi.
so how much will that custom piping and manifold cost me, since he selling me the whole turbo system for 500 dollars..........where can i get a turbo manifold for the f22b??????????dang 8.8:1 thas pretty low, isn't it the lower compression better u are with turbo?????? so i just need custom plumbing and manifold, i'm gonna buy a new fuel pump, probably venom, so i need injectors and i was gonna get a fuel pressure regulator.........

dude, you are going to clown yourself, the stock turbo is a t25 its too small for the f22 you will start losing power after 3900, especially at small boost levels, even at higher boost levels the turbo is too small and does not flow enought to support the demands of the motor
i could retard my timing though cuz i have adjustable cam gears, man it's cheap deal and i'm trying to get him to go down to just 300 and i just want turbo........will that work..........i could retard my timing, and run about 8 psi's........also if i can power a car that weighs more than mine and has 5 less hp's for the nonturbo version i think it's worth a try.

a t25 would be sufficent for under 10 psi of boost...on the F22
the redline is low enough that you won't really be maxing out the turbo and its efficency...
my friend is running 17 psi of boost on his 97 talon with the stock turbo...its only a 2.0L but it redlines at 7,000 rpms...and sure its probably not very efficent at 17 psi...but at 8-9 psi on a F22, it would work fine

the only thing it gives you is low end, no mid range at rpm's over 3500 even at 22psi still did not have enough airflow to support the motors needs
the guy ran 16 psi's on it till he blew his motor. damn t25 that's a pretty small turbo... i wanna try it but judging from what i'm hearing about it not being able to support my engines air flow needs i dunno, but turbo is a pretty koo thing to have.

Sell on ebay. Money is better than a tiny turbo.
i haven't bought it from him yet........but how much would u sell it for??????? i don't think i'm really gonna buy it now... instead i'm thinking about getting a aem cold air intake and hp stainless headers, and the new angel ring headlights.....also hp crank pulleys and aem pulley kit.
it's all good......i have plans of buying an m3 or a 97 and up nsx-t in couple years after i come back from germany.......and hopefully have enough dough to turbo charge those.
