Is the tdc sensor the same as the crank angle sensor? and if so, could a bad tdc/crankangle sensor make the ecu go into limp mode? and to make sure im correct, limp mode is when the car wont rev past 3200 rpm, and a complete loss of power?
i have also bought a new dizzy, and still the same problem. also car started running severly retarded. also changed the o2 sensor. same problem. could it be the wiring? just swapped a sohc zc into the 91 dx. loved it until this happened. Any input would be priceless. please help.

First make sure its on timing check and double check timing the check, and double check ur wiring

 

tdc senso on a different plane on same shaft look at the pics are of a obd1 dizzy but pretty much the same





and yes double check wiring you need to add two wires from dizzy when doing dx swap as dx is a sloppy car when talking about its fuel management
