Default Free Install/Dyno Time From AEM!

Recent improvements to the software for our Programmable Engine Management system now make it even easier to use! These improvements include:

·Application Specific menus for quick set-up of vehicle options (available via email as an upgrade for existing systems)
·User scaling—Allows for definition of load axes in metric and standard units
·Extended internal datalogging capabilities
·Boost vs. Vehicle Speed software
·Boost vs. Throttle Position software
·Four-channel EGT with feedback

These changes make our EMS the most comprehensive system available. As with all Stand-Alone systems, the AEM EMS should always be programmed by a qualified tuner on a dynamometer using an air/fuel ratio monitor.

We are so confident in this program that we will pay $200.00 for installation and dyno tuning for the first 200 HONDA or ACURA owners who schedule a tuning appointment at an authorized facility!

To qualify, contact AEM at (310) 484-2322 and press one for sales. You will be connected to a salesperson and directed to an authorized tuning facility in your area. Then all you have to do is purchase a Plug & Play EMS system from one of them and schedule a tuning appointment. Current EMS owners do qualify under this offer, but may be charged a service fee, which is determined solely by the tuning facility. Dyno time for vehicles is for installation and tuning purposes only. The AEM Plug & Play EMS will not fix a vehicle with mechanical problems. It is up to the vehicle owner to ensure that his/her vehicle is in proper mechanical condition prior to tuning.

AEM will reimburse the authorized facility for services directly. AEM is not responsible for any sums charged directly to the vehicle owner. AEM will not reimburse vehicle owners for any repairs to a vehicle. IF YOU ARE IN DOUBT AS TO THE TERMS OF THIS OFFER, CONTACT AEM.

This offer is valid for all residents of North America and is subject to availability. Authorized facilities may not yet be in your area.

The AEM EMS is legal in California for racing vehicles only which may never be used on public highways.

Does this mean you will not reimburse the shop if I buy your EMS from them and bring in my daily driven car for it to be installed in? Sounds like a Caveat Emptor here!

Right on Lawson. I just finished up a tuning session with Jason over at R&D Dyno. Although I gained some power...it just doesn't feel right. From zero vacuumn to 3psi I feel nothing. Then after 4psi you can feel the car starting to pickup. Before it was a linear pickup in acceleration from zero to 7psi. I'm going to contact Jason after the weekend to discuss this further. Seems like turbo lag big time. I could use another dyno session to smooth these bugs out.

I'm glad this applies to me as well. My thing is I could drive down and talk to JC in person. Yes I have the 1020 but I'm just waiting for my turbo to come back.

Hmmm this seems a bit strange to me. Both pmassman and gfreshman have 2 posts each, both being in this thread by the members. Both are AOL accounts w/out AOL profile. One has been a member for 2 days and the other for only 1 day. Funny how out of all the threads and forums their first two posts are in this one.

I can attest that this is true, AEM called the shop and I spoke directly with Kirk who is in charge of the AEM EMS project.
