Can I clean the Idle Air Control Valve?

The one I have has about 204k on it..
Can you clean these out or do they need to be replaced?

Spray carb cleaner into it and you should be good..

One thing you should know... When cleaning out the IACV try not to get any carb spray into the motor part of it, or on the gasket. So remove the gasket and hold the IACV by the motor and keep the holes down. spray, dry then re-assemble.

the motor is the black cylinder shaped object right?
