idle up and down after new motor? Whats wrong?
I just put a j-spec d16a6 in my CRX. i have a jackson racing supercharger. i think i have every thing hooked up where it was. But there isnt any vacume leakes. i know that a buddy of mine put a turbo on his car and it did the same thing. Can any one help me, hints, ideas, any thing.

sure you dont have any vac leaks.
IAC valve is on your intake manifold, check that like stated above.

Make sure your radiator is blead. If there are any air pockets it can cause a fluctuating idle.

i had the same problem and the problem was that the throttel linkage was adjusted so that the throttle was open with out pushing gas.

Well HONDA-TECH you have saved my *** again. i cleaned and adjusted what i think is the idle air control, but what ever you called it, it worked. But there is a problem with running lean when im just at a steady speed. do you have any ideas on this problem. plus what kind of cars you all got.

I dont have an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator. and i dont know my fuel pressure. but before i swapped out motors i didnt have a problem and i thought it was the same motor. but i dont know.
