tune it...your timing is probably off...your air/fuel is probably off...your compression is probably too low to feel a SIGNIFICANT difference...there could be a lot of things.

No tune, no idea what springs are in there and what lift they can handle. You dont just throw cams in or valves for this matter. You may want to leave this task up to a professional before you go out again and kick in the poppin vtec

Have you ever thought about maybe these cams are too large for your motor? S2S2's are a great cam, but they aren't ones to just drop in a stock gsr or B16, you'll lose power if you do that...

if you dont have time/money you have no business modifying a car that you cannot afford to repair period.

Man i have had my skunk2 stage 2 cams sitting in my house for 1.5 years now, waiting to get money to finish up my build, slowing collecting parts to do it right. If your not going to do it right, don't do it. Finally got everything i needed down to the small gaskets, and hopefully I will be able to finish this summer.

what rpm is vtec activating at? i bet its coming on really early. the earlier it comes on the harder it sounds but u wont really feel any gains till like 5.6K rpms. i tuned a few cars with s2s2 cams and all have like VTEC to be set at around 5.6K rpms
