Default Power Rev 191 HP, 155 TQ Stock JDM H22 EK Dyno Video

Here is a video of Power Rev Racing 1997 EK hatch with JDM H22 engine. The motor is stock except for bolt ons.

191 Hp @ 7400rpm
155 TQ @5400rpm
Will try and scan the dyno sheet. But it kind of got messed up as this dyno run was sometime last year. The dyno pull was done in 4th gear.

You need divX. As I used DivX to compress it.

Just bolt ons. (Euro R Intake Manifold, JG 65mm Throttle Body, Carbon Intake, Cheap header with modded 2.5 in collector, and Buddy Club Exhaust.
Not tuned. Its a chipped P28

Darkknight on this board made 197/156 on that similar set-up, but ANR, stock TB.

I threw together a base map for it, it was only street tuned.

I would like to see the dyno sheet if you post it.

those are some good numbers, I dont wanna bring in the b18c(r) into this but with bolt ons does it put out similar numbers? All I hear is how the b18c is more powerfull etc...

B18c might make about same hp but about 20 ft lbs of tq less. Which would make the h22 faster. only thing that kills the h22 is the bad gear ratios

If u could do your swap over would u still go h22? ANy dissapointments, I mean u got some great numbers...but numbers arent always everything.
Have u been to the 1/4track with yours?

If I was to do it again I would of done a K. But I would not do a B series over a H ever.

It's very unlikely. Most c5s are in the 170 - 180s w/ bolt ons and tuning.

Get it tuned and a better header and you will definitely make more power!

hey how'd you keep the secondaries with the P28, I thought you could only run the secondaries with the P72?? Please tell me cuz I have a H22 with chipped P28 and there is not any secondaries. I was told to get the P72.

No secondaries in the EuroR, but you can have just about any OBD1 vtec ecu control secondaries. The boards are all nearly identical. pm: Turbogixxer he'll get you setup.
