Ive been trying to see how many miles per gallon im getting. My gas needle has been pegged at E twice with no gas light ever coming on. Right now im at 354 miles to this tank of gas for both city and highway, the needle is past the redline on E and no gas light has came on.

How many gallons does my tank hold?

i heard its only 10 gallons

 

My 93 cx says the gastank is 11.1 gallons and definitely no gas light.

 

i thought all civics and integras, regardless of trim level...have an 11.1 gallon fuel cell...

 

my **** takes $9.50 to fill the tank @ 1.13 per gallon!
man, stock CX's are slow as ****!
man and the **** last about 275miles in the city!

Nah, it's gotta be 11.1 gallons because I filled up my 92 CX tank last night with 10.4 gallons of gas (damn H22 sucks down more gas than a 454 Suburban).

 

Yeah, I felt like I could drive to Cali on one tank with my old d15, now it feels like I'm stopping at every gas station with the B18, price you pay for power I guess.

 

Honda model brochure that year lists CX as 10.0 gallon gas capacity.

I have also filled with slightly more than 10 gallons, but I don't think Honda accounted for the filler tube or the fuel injection system (the filter actually holds quite a bit of fuel).

I can post the brochure, if you like.

Edmunds lists the capacity as 11.9. Never let mine get that low over the last ten years.
