Hi Guys,

I went to a shell station to get a diagnostic check. There were a couple of random mis fire codes and a p1399 ( undocumented error code ).

But the mechanic said that he was unable to find out what this code meant on my Integra 2000 LS Automatic.

Anyone seen this one?

I have been having this code lately too and I have yet to get to the bottom of it. I did find it on google and it has something to do with misfire but I can't remember what. Most of the OBD2 codes are universal and standardized between makes, but 1399 is a manufacturer specific code...i.e. P1399 for a Honda is different than P1399 for a Dodge.

On an S2000 forum I read of ppl getting this code while having problems with injectors, but this didn't seem to be my problem, so I dunno?

Did you guys ever figure this out? I've got it now. Car feels like the timing belt slipped a tooth on the exhaust side.

 

what does it mean? for me i beleive it was my speed sensor... it was missing the middle prong on the female side. after i got a new speed sensor the check engine light never came on again...

 

Well I ran a compression test and Cyl #2 is dead with zero compression. I think it's a cracked valve so I bought another head yesterday. I'll try to find time this week to put it on.
