Default What injectors: boost w/450cc --> Stock

For those who don't know I have a 99 Civic Si with the stock b16. I was boosted on Uberdata with the DSM 450cc w/ resistor box. After breaking the ringlands on Cylinder #3 and burning the exhaust valves in #2-#4 I am going back to stock for a while. I do not wish to cut out my resistor box at the risk of needing again in the future. Can I use an injector from an older civic with the stock OBD 2 Computer and the resisor box still installed? Are the Black top 450s OBD1 or OBD0 clips? And lastly does anyone have any they are looking to hock. Thanks in advance guys!

i dont think you can keep the resistor box on, not positive tho, the black tops should be obd1

get a stock map made for your car w\ the 440's. anybody who knows how to tune could do that for you. i also have some dsm injector clips you can have for like 5 bucks, 2 of the the plastic parts on the base of them is cracked tho, doesnt affect anything

Thanks guys, I have the clips already wired in. I just didnt want to have to cut out the resistor box and put the OEM injector clips back on, and then go and put it all back on later. The harness would be hacked to **** and back! I was thinking with the OBD2 computer it should support the same injector size from an OBD1 car with the box still installed. that wat I could leave the box in, leave the clips on and be done. ---I guess on the other hand I could always buy like RC injectors for High Imp and get them w/ the obd2 clips...

Something you can research....

If you want to run the stock unchipped ecu, and keep the resistor box, you might be able to get injectors for an OBD0 Civic ro CRX Si. The Si trim levels for those years had low impedance injectors, with a flow rate of around 240cc. They should still be a good physical fit, and will use your pre-OBD2 clips that are already wired in.

The B16 might be a bigger flow rate, than the old Si models.

Again, something for you to research...
