I've read that thread many times before I started on my swap... But I came across a couple of things that I really didn't understand... I've also heard that I could actually install the S2000 seats w/ the stock brackets. I'll just be able to use only 3 bolts... That wasn't true... The S2000 seat bucket mounting points are about 1/4 wider... I tried to mount them in my sol but the 2 front holes wouldn't work... So that's why I thought I'de do one for myself....was it easy enough to understand?

yo... i also put some s2k seats in my del sol. they are 05 red and black s2k seats to match the ride... http://members.cardomain.com/egcivicdelsol which can be viewed there. i did not change the seat pan, or any of that other crazy stuff. All i did was first step, take off my del sol brackets, off of the seat, along with the wire that goes under, 2 nd step, pull off the s2k brackets along with the cable under. 3 rd step, pull back the material on the s2k seat, then put the stock del sol brackets on and bolt them up. 4th step, the seat is going to sink in when u install it if u dont change the pan, so what idid, is got a 1/2 thick piece of metal, that was the same length as the brackets width, and welded the strip of metal to the del sol brackets so the seats sink in to the bracket. so the sit dips and sits clean like stock del sol seat. seats came out clean and perfect, just swapped brackets, and welded a long thick strip of metal to the brackets, so the seats didnt sink in... if anybody wnats pictures aim me on aol instant message, 'go2j' is da name. thx peace.

I just put s2000 seats in my del sol, and it's really not that hard, just takes some time. It took about 5 hours to do both seats.
Basically, you take off the seats rails and the hinge off the del sol seat and swap them on the s2k seat. I suggest getting some hog ring pliers and new hog rings (ones that are a little larger than the oem ones). Removing the hog rings and reinstalling them are what takes the most time.
Ohh btw, the new seat height is minimal but the s2k seats hug you so well when you sit in them.
Definitely worth the time and money imo. If any of you have questions just im me.
