If they want it BAD enough, they'll find a way to get it!! In the mean time, kill switches, the more the better

dont take it to the malls, movie theatres or any place where you cant see it. Its just part of owning a honda. If somebody wants your car they are going to get it. Even if you remove your steering wheel, have kil switches and a alarm

Two way alarm, kill swichS (about 5), three autolocks, that boot thing, removable steering wheel, PITBULL inside car. I wonder if its good to valet instead of self parking. Valet should be safer.

in most cases except for the rare extreme case, a flashing led warning of some kind of theft deterrent system will do enough. just don't use it as a way to catch attention, cause i know of cases where the flashing led leads to those who know what they are doing when it comes to stealing cars. its then that you have to beef up security measures to the mentioned above.

Buy an aftermarket steering wheel with a removable hub then get this new thing, It's a big chunk of aluminum that slips over the hub after the steeringwheel is removed then locks with a key. They can break into your car but they can't drive away with it unless they break off the hub lock, have an aftermarket steeringwheel with a compatible removbale hub then break the ignition. It will cost you around $300-400 but if you really don't want your car stolen it's worth it. Not to mention it looks pimp and you'll have the nice feel of a racing wheel.

Oh yeah, I'm totally waiting for it. Like load it on a flatbed truck or something. Thats why I forgot but was gonna say when you part turn your wheel all the way to one side. Won't always stop them but atleast make it harder sine they wont beable to just push of pull it onto a truck.

Just thought of this guy in the EF forum, he was tired of thieves breaking into his hatch so he slept for three nights in his car with a shotgun and covered by a blanket or something like that... And on the fourth night, they broke in and he caught the ******* thieves. Best security system, yourself lol...

I'd do switches, alarm, club. Do starter, fuel pump, battery, alternator, and dizzy switches, those disable crucial systems of the car that are needed for the car to start. Doesn't matter what they use, if they cant find it, they cant start it.

kill switch is probably the best option. Only problem is if they have enough time to look for the switch, they'll find it.

i ll throw in my two cents here... man all i have to say is all of the above is point less if the thieves have a tow truck... if u have an alarm, they'll pop your hood from the outside and either cut your battery so your car is dead, or some how find a way to reset your alarm so it wont go off... then they'll pull a trick out their sleeve some how think of a way to cut your rear e-brake oil lines those big chain cutters are usually used... from there they'll have no problem pulling nor lifting it on to their homemade mother f***kin tow trucks!!!! but if no tow truck, quick release hub lock, ignition kill switch, fuel pump kill switch, autolock, and most definetly a two way pager alarm.... please correct me if im wrong anybody....

My neighbor who is a cop, said about the only thing that really works is the brake lock, it's sort of a club but for the brake pedal. Not the one that hooks to the brake, and to the steering wheel. It has a yellow cloth steering wheel cover to let thieves know that you have this thing. He said the only other way they could steal it with this thing on there is ? TADA tow it.

Yeah, that's what I thought till my car was nearly stolen this past night. I was woken up by my mom telling me my wheels and tires are gone and the car is sitting on cinder blocks. The steering column is totally busted as well.

Damn that sucks. I'm a paranoid individual, and it doesn't help that I live in NYC. Right now I am relying on a two way alarm. I am going to be getting the brake lock I mentioned above, and the locking wheel nuts. I also saw something else that looked pretty good, same concept as the club. It goes in between your shifter and parking brake, and locks. I am debating between this and the brake one. The shifter locks seems alot less of a hassle to use day in and out, and it's much smaller. I wonder though if they would maybe brake the head of the shifter or something and get it off ????

i know how u feel.... i got my car back today... rims/hood/system/ all gone..

i think im gonna have a 2way alarm set on it, the theifs who stole my car got a screw driver or something strong shuved it under the hood and fliped the switch. and since alarm didnt have a sensor there... tada... cut alarm.. and went to work.. sux... im gonna have to install kill switch(s) 2way alarm, and get me some kinda good break lock. but i gotta pay all this money outta my pocket to get all the stuff replaced, mainly hood/intake/ignition/doorlock/ then get tires/new alarm/break lock? lojack maybe?

If they want your car bad enough, they'll get it. The best thing to do is to give them as many things as possible to disable before they steal your car. If your car has all kinds of **** on it, its gonna take the thief longer to take it and most likely he will move on to an easier target. Use alot of kill switches, removable steering wheel with locking hub, use decoy alarm speakers (put in the fender, one under the hood, etc. spread them out) and hide the brain of your alarm system somewhere where it would be a pain in the *** to get to, or at least slows the thief down. Also having the alarm with the pager doesnt hurt either. And if your worried about tow trucks, put those orange metal things around your wheels (the ones that they use to keep you from driving off with your car when you parked in the wrong area) and thats prolly all i can suggest.
