Composites Fab Custom Carbon Fiber Products. As of right now we have mostly carbon fiber and kevlar interior products. We are coming out with exterior and race products very soon. We know these have no weight reduction and are for cosmetic purposes only. The hoods we are coming out with will be very light and strong. Everything we do is vacuum infused. This means everything in the mold goes in dry and then it is put under huge vacuum pressure. Then the resins are injected into the piece so you get a air-free light product. All Composites Fab Products are now availible in the 1x1 plain weave. This is the same weave that Mugen and Spoon Sports uses on their carbon products. Perfectly matches all your JDM parts






Here are some pics of our hoods we are doing. Again remeber these are 100% vacuum infused. Pictured is a hood for the new dodge charger. It is about and and a half integra hoods for comparison and it only weights 8lbs. Our hoods will start coming out at the beginning of the next year. They will be carbon fiber skin and frames. They will be $595 but will be lighter and stronger then ANY street hood. UV protected and made with epoxy based resins. Full rolled edges as well. All latches secured with 100% dupont kevlar. Only hood that does not require hood pins.

I have some CompositeFab products, cant say enough about the craftsmanship. Also very responsive, and very professional, this isnt a bunch of kids whos friends uncles cousin makes some CF products in their spare time.

Great stuff...cant wait to replace my VIS hood with a CompFab hood!

they are about the same as a stock cover, maybe a half a pound less. They are made for cosmetic purposes. If someone wanted to lose the weight they would just take it out We can make them pretty light if you wanted and we also have them coming out in a 1pc. I will post more pics of the hoods when I can some taken. Our production hoods are still in the prototyping phase so they will be released soon!

 

Also we are starting our line of carbon fiber and fiberglass lips. Our first ones we made were for the old school datsun 510's and our next batch will be our own design and we are also making a replica backyard bumper that will have a removable carbon or kevlar lip.

How much do your EG hatch parts run(either CF or kevlar)? Cargo Cover, side panels (rear), Door panels (no power) & hood (when it's available). Also are you going to make a CF or Kevlar hatch?

I have a integra carbon cover made by Composites Fab. Im a very hard to impress person and Composites Fab has done just that! I have seen a lot of carbon fiber products. The quality of these products are FAR above average! The weave is perfect, the finish is incredible, and the fitment is great! Very Recommended!!

what about front lips?

 

we will be coming out with lips soon, but we are not a huge manufacture. Where we can come out with a ton of applications in the matter of days. Most our days are filled with filling orders and does not leave much time for added applications. But we will come out with several lips but the styles and applications are all still up in the air

 

can't wait for the hoods to come out

 

we are working as fast as we can with the hoods now the 99-00 civic coupe and 94-01 Inetgra will be the first ones we will do. Also all our molds are lined with several layers of carbon fiber on the rear to help with strength and longevity of the molds. This helps insure a very well fitting product. Pictured below is the DC fuel pump covers mold we just laid this morning. You can see the layers of carbon we backed the mold with
