Extra plug after swap??!?
I just finished swapping a b18b into my eg this last weekend and I have an extra plug on the engine harness that I can't find a home for. (I used the civic's harness). It's a round female plug with two wires leading to it: black and green. Anyone know what this is?
I think everything is running fine but its hard to tell because the header is open right now and the o2 sensor isn't in fully (going to an exhaust shop to weld up the exhaust for me and weld in a new o2 bung).

I don't have a digtital camera to post up pics, sorry.
The harness is from a '92 civic lx, so no vtec. It is near the starter and thermostat on the b18, but was most likely right in the middle on the d15 because the harness is stretched a little now.

Fan switch, on the thermostat housing?</TD></TR></TABLE>
I'm thinking it may be the fan switch. I've read that the b18a has the plug on the back of the block, and the b18b has it on the thermo housing. The problem is that I have a 97 b18b that was previously installed in a '90 LS, so most of the misc parts surrounding the actual engine are from the DA (including the t-stat). This would explain the reason I can't find a place for the plug. The car is currently at a muffler shop for some welding and I've only driven it the 10 minutes it took to get there so I have no idea if the fan is working or not...

I'll make sure that this is indeed the plug for the fan switch first. If so, then I guess I'll find a newer thermo housing at a junkyard or something. Thanks man!
