Default 2ND THEFT ATTEMPT ON MY GSR IN 3 DAYS!!! (san jose west)

[wed] part one: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1450808
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by pr0phet &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">They broke into my car and totally f'ed up the ignition. But they didn’t get her to start so they just took my alpine deck and left.

My mechanic told me that the only reason they weren't able to get the car to start was that my car is a 2000 and they changed the ignition on tegs that year and made it harder to steal. The worst part is that I ordered a Viper 791xv (top of the line alarm with pager) and was planning on having it installed next Monday!
</TD></TR></TABLE>

part two: [sat]
so I haven't even fixed the ignition yet, but today I'm walking out I notice that my driver side window is smashed!

I guess they were diff people cuz the first time they didn't break any windows to get in. They didn't take anything (there was nothing to take)... just some CDs and my hugo boss leather jacket.

I don't even know what to do cuz I can't get it to start to move it and I'm super paranoid about tonight cuz my window is gone! My car is all flashy white with black windows and black wheels slammed so I'm screwed.

watch out if you live in san jose west!!!! archstone apartments sucks!

** reason not to leave a nice leather Huge Boss Jacket.. remember people.. its Christmas time.. thieves are looking for free presents!!! **

and have it fixed asap.. ignition switch shouldnt be too hard to instal.. call acura and get a quote.

[new] solution: go to chevy or ford or something.. and tell them to install a chevy/ford lock system on your doors.. that will prevent those theives from opening your car door like it's nothing..

second.. buy a clutch lock system. that way... if they do get into your car.. they can't start your car or put it in gear because there's a lock on the clutch that keeps it stationary parelell to the car floor.. they'd have to weld it off.. or cut through your floor to take your car.. imho i dont think there would be anyone who would want to take your car bad enough to do all that..

but these are just some tips..

oh also.. get a 2way alarm system.. that way if they set off your alarm.. you get a little page therefore you can respond to it right away.

yeah.. "wow".. i know a lot of people that steal cars.. maybe it doesn't happen often there in anaheim.. but if you were from the bay area.. (510, 415, 408 etc..) you would be able to tell anyone that people from here would steal your car in a heartbeat.. the bay area is a crucial place.. its life.. and no I PERSONALLY dont steal cars.. i think it's messed up.. i got my car broken into 3 times.. and its just wrong..

sorry to hear that. f@!king thieves. what i would do is not to tell to much in detail about what you are going to do to the car. eyes and ears are about. it could be someone you know or someone reading this too. you have to be very careful who you share your information with. TRUST NO ONE! make it hard on them. dont know to much on 3rd gen integras. but if have to remove the battery. remove it. but if it has a code, have that on hand. remove fuses. take out your valueables (speaker box, amp, etc) anything that is easy to take. if you have to take 1 rim and leave on a jack stand. do it i would. make hard it for them. because you never know if they are going to come back. TRUST NO ONE!!!! not even the shops that install the stuff for you. thats a good idea from jh2586 said about the clutch lock. i made my own clutch lock for all my cars at my job. you could also look into a shifter lock made by multi-lock. i bought one a few years back for about 125 at the local key smith. what it does is locks your shifter in a gear and it wont move from that gear. i like to put mines in 5th. good luck

Disable your car for a minute. Take a distr, ecu, and fuses so they can't move it. It's discusting how these thiefs will stop at nothing to get there hands on a teg. Best of luck.

this is why i love having a LS, no one gets near it. Maybe the same person who broke into 1st car is the same person who broke into it 2nd time.

I heard that it was the 99 and up. The clutch lock and the 2 way page seems like a good idea.

I'm sorry your car keeps getting broken into. It sucks how people have no regard for other peoplee property. They dont give two ***** if you work your *** off to have something that you are passionate about. I think all thieves should be castrated. Good luck getting your car back up in running order, and I hope they finally realize that they are not going to get away with your car and leave you the hell alone.

autolock & quick release hub w/ quick release lock, and my car is parked in my garage..

never be too safe..

like what someone said up there.. if they want it, they'll take it..

i've heard too many stories about clutch lock this, kill switch that, but all they do is find a way to have it roll, then they have a buddy with a tow truck down the street or something..

things are bad in the bay area.. it's a 24/7 job keeping an eye on your car..

hey guys im not always on here, but i was just skimming through, and on friday night, my car was being tampered with also in the san jose area, im not going to say where, but it was near the great mall, towards the hills, ne way i was half way asleep with my gf on the couch and i heard an alarm go off, i was like hm..watever, then i said ****!!!! went outside and nothing was wrong, no more alarm either, so i thought watever, went back inside, i had a weird feeling still, so i went outside, beeped my alarm, and it beeped 4 times, to unlock my car its only 2 beeps, and if someone goes through the door its 3 beeps, im not sure wat 4 was, but i was scared to ****, i asked my gfs mom if i could put my car in the garage and she said yea, so i did that and i checked all of my doors, and the alarm still beeped 4 times, i opened the hood and closed it, then the alarm was regular, i think someone was trying to mess with my hood, and yes it is CF, ******* sucks ***, im gonna kill one of those muthafuckas, i swear!!, bc my car has been stolen once, its been broken into once before also and stole the deck, im pissed off as ****, i really am gonna beat someone to death in a minute. and yes i do have a clutch lock and alarm, but time to upgrade
