sick of the BS that comes along with it
i am just plain sick of all the crap that comes along with owning this car , and its not the looks or ricers trying to race me all the time either, its the cars pulling up to my house in the middle of the night , ive woken up so many times each night since ive had this car that i feel like i can comfortably say that at most i get 2-5 hours sleep throughout the day , and its pathetic that my life has come to this because of a fckin car , but that the way it is , as we all know , im sure this post randomly pops up but i had to vent , i have a deep hatred for the following things at night ( 3 different newspaper trucks that all make noise , and slam their doors , neighbors dog barking , (things gonna catch a 5.56 cal to the head soon ) fckin G35 , 350z murano , and all Nissan's that sound like they just did something wrong when they hit the gas , and anyone who goes slow near my house , and of course the thieves , who i have obviously seen scoping out my house and car, im so serious when i say that im going to shoot someone in the face if anything else happens at my house or to my car , and i don't know or care if u are reading this and its u plotting on me , but trust me im going to blow ur brains out of your head , so well see what a type r is really worth , so eat $hit thieves, and ill see you next time ur in front , and we can discuss alarms as i remove your eyeballs with my fingers, , aight and to everyone who i know and those who i don't know that are honest hard workers who love their R , don't worry im not getting rid of it , that wont happen , im just letting off some steam because every night till god knows what time i am on Honda tech chillin waiting to see these screwballs trying to jack my $hit , ahhhhhhhhh i feel a little better now , gonna go sit in the window like a dog for a little and fall asleep , thanks for reading my BS i figured u guys would all understand , goodnight keep em safe everyone , peace out --- Jared

I definitely feel your enthusiasm and don't blame you for wanting to vent. Its definitely nerve racking owning a car that leads to so much stress these days if you can't afford a personal body guard strapped with an m16 ready to defend it with his life as soon as anyone you're not familiar with it comes anywhere near a friggin' lug nut. I've not had the pleasure of owning an R yet (still hoping to some day), but I have had the 'pleasure' of having not 1, but two of my cars stolen. The first being my first car, and my beloved '98 gs-r that I dumped every last dime into and had stolen in the first few months as a freshman in college. Long story short, I feel your pain (sadly a little too much) & I hope no one ever comes close to succeeding in their efforts to rob you of your ride. Just wondering, are you not able to garage it? When I finally get back into "the game" (which will hopefully be with my dream '98 type-r) I'm going to make sure I can provide it with more than adequate security. I'm not trying to criticize because I know garages aren't always easy to come by nor full proof but its so ridiculous how rare original R's are now.

b18C1_liLkyLe--------thanks bro sorry about ur cars , if u get an r just make sure u got weapons , and the 1000000 other things u need to protect it , if u wanna buy mine lemme know , the thing is knowing me ill go buy a JDM R and really screw myself. its real hard to keep this car safe so just be careful if u get one , good luck
If you're "sick of the BS", get another car to daily drive and secure parking for the ITR.
Do those two things and you'll find that you'll have a lot less headache.
Do those two things and you'll find that you'll have a lot less headache.
Anything Type R will get you this, hell, anything fixed up will get you this.
I drive a freaking Civic with a stock engine and CTR brakes/suspension on CRV steelies and I get followed home about once a month.
You either have to worry about it and secure it, or not worry about it. All I do is lose someone when they're following me, never park in the same spot on a daily routine, etc. If someone steals my car, thats what insurance is for.
I'm saying this but I know once I get an R it will all change.

I agree. I have no headaches or deal with any BS driving around town in my Chevy Malibu while the R is locked away in its bunker.

Haha I feel ya man. The 94 Robin Egg Blue Cavalier with 160,000 on the odo sure as hell isn't going to get anyone to follow me. Life is just so much easier not having the extra stress.

or just look at it this way, out of any civic or integra out there, this is the one you will get money back if they do steal it

I to know how you feel, whats better than that is if you live on the normal roads, say a few miles from any main street and people fallow you home. My house is 4 miles off the next road. about 30 houses in this small neighborhood. When i had the R 5 or 6 times people would fallow me home. Then they say **** like Oh you live here? then the next comit was is Dude is that Real?
Nothing like a car load of strangers at you house late at night.

last time they tried to steal it i had left my wallet , some cash , like 350$ and a little smoke 1/2 O it was all still in the car , they didn't take anything , but then again they were running like bitches when i started chasing them so they didn't have time to take my personal things , that would suck if they got my wallet . all that they actually got was a stock ecu ,( and they left me another one ) skunk 2 shift **** ( came with car used ) and my spoon socks , and i get a stock oem shift know back from insurance , but whatever that doesn't matter when they just carried ur car down the block and across 3 lawns , it just makes me sick , and im not gonna sell it , because that's crap why should i get rid of the one thing i have wanted since 97 ? i finally got what i want and sell it , no chance in hell would that ever happen , geez , i seriously get pissed when it comes to this subject, im just glad you all understand my pain with this

A freind of mine is so paranoid about his car being stolen that he has taken to driving it into the back garden every night. He has to fold the mirrors in and crawl at 0.0005mph as the gap is just about the width of his car. He has also fitted ram bars in front of the gap and a high gate at the rear of the house. Unless some potential thief saw him driving it in i doubt anyone would ever know there was a car in there as the gap looks so small.
geez, a car shouldn't be like that
it should just be an enjoyable materal possession, not something to control your life
either sell it or build a garage and get a dd until you can move a better area where u dont have to be constantly paranoid about someone stealing it
I remember I was paranoid as hell when I first got my car, but it slowly faded away
I have that plan, once I finish school, and move out Im gonna get a daily beater and make my R into a track project/weekend car

bro we all love our cars... But if your gonna ruin your life and kill someone over it then you deserve to go to jail for life.
HOnestly yes i would want to kill someone but i really wouldnt... i would probably throw them a really good beaten... but kill someone and watch how fast your life is ruined when your up for murder over a car.
Grow up

that's why i live in a highly guarded 24/7 security camera watched complex. i'm on a first name basis with all the security guards, and even have a live feed of all the apt. cameras to my TV. along with my garage and house alarm, car alarm, auto lock, and glock 36. no one can even get close to my car without me knowing.
