Default Just to prove I can actually weld...

Hey all,
I got to thinking and realized I had never posted any of my work on this board. I then figured out that all I seem to do is talk, but never show of anything I have done. Tonight I went to the garage and broke out some scrap...here's some pictures of what I came out with. I usually work with 4130, but wasnt going to waste that so this is on mild steel, and was notched on my home made notcher I made. Tell me what you think...
Settings were as follows:
Machine: Miller Sync 180SD
Tungsten: .125" Red Stripe (would have used 3/32" but didnt have any)
Filler: ER70-S2 1/16"
Amps: 82(controlled by pedal though)
Base Metal: 1.125"x.125" Round Mild Steel Tubing
Kyle
P.S. I hate digi cams! For one, I really suck at them...and two, hate the fact that they make a seemingly perfect bead(to the naked eye), look like crap! LOL

Damn...thought I covered all the setup...I always seem to forget something or other. Cup size was #7(gas lense), and torch was just the factory Miller #17 that came with the machine. Cant wait to buy a nicer flex head torch
By the way, after looking ta the pics on the computer, it seems to have a lil yellowish/brownish tinit to it, which the actual welds do not have. Not sure why this happened...maybe because it was under flourescents in my kitchen...???
Thanks for the compliments!

Yeah the light is way whck in the pictures. Everything looks really yellow, but the steel, in person looks almost polished..its hella clean.
About the notcher...look at my post in this thread: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1430656
Thanks for the compliments!
