the switch might be bad, also are you sure its not the condenser fan?

I've actually got a friend with a '95 LS also, same exact problem. Unfortunately, I haven't had time to look the car over and do any troubleshooting for him.

This switch mentioned, do you mean a temperature switch, usually mounted in the radiator or thermostat housing, or do you mean the relay?

I'm not sure either whether it's the condenser fan or not, I'll have to find out when I look at the car. Does the condenser fan come on only when the A/C is on, or does it get turned on also when the temperature gets above a certain point?

I haven't really worked on any hondas/acuras before, but this is pretty basic stuff, as far as troubleshooting goes, I'm just wondering if there are some well-known common issues with this year/model or something.

thanks much,

That happened to me, my relay was fried. Check that.

a common thing on 3rd gen tegs if for the radiator switch to go out. its located behind the distributor, down towards the intake manifold flange.

the fan relay is in the fuse box in the engine bay. It will be the one that is near the battery it is in the far back. there is also a relay hidden in the dash somewhere.

double check your fan sensor switch at the themostat and the themostat itself.

Hope this helps.

I'm thinkin it's the relay for the AC fan. Had it happen on and old CRX supposedly because water got into it. Best way to check without spending a lot of money is to switch it with another one on the car, I think on the CRX it was up close to the radiator, would think it would be in a similar place on the teg, if you don't know, they're a little 1.5 inch by 1 inch black box with a 3 or 4 wire plug.
