integra and civic ex knuckle ?...
im just curious if they are the same thing. if i change it can i just use the integra driver side one and my ex passenger side knuckle? reason being is that im tired of changing my wheel bearing haha. i think my hub is worn. changed the bearing once , a couple weeks later what do you know its fucked up again. i thought maybe it was a cheap kragen bearing and the fact that my car wasnt aligned so i change it again with a honda bearing and get my car aligned and a week later ***** fucked up again. so now im contemplating to see if i even want to keep this damn car anymore. ever since ive got the car shipped from cali its been nothing but problems. ive been thinkin about doing 96 spec itr suspension or possibly the 5 lug. but right now i just want to know if integra knuckles are the same as civic ex knuckles
. sorry about the rant haha im just pissed off

**** i dont know that. i think its a 10.3 rotor . i know its bigger than the dx/cx brakes. i just want something that'll fit. i heard 4 dr lx knuckles are the same as ex knuckles??? can anyone confirm?
Yes the larger front rotor civics have the same knuckle as integras...
Not all 4dr Civics have the larger front brakes though...

as 94eg! said if they are 10.X then its the same as the tegs. It gets weird with the civic's though, depending on model, year, options and if honda felt like it, it seems

LOL! That's for sure. I must count at least 10 different EG chassis variants...

NO people.
94-01 Integras and 92-95 Civic EX/SI ABS models take the same knuckle. 96-00 Civics take knuckles that are smaller.
Also, 92-95 Civics have a knuckle that has the caliper bracket mount holes closer to the center compared to EX/ABS models and Integras, this knuckle found on the DX and LX and CX.

thats wrong only 94-95 civic's came with the option of ABS. There are alot of Ex, and SI's out there with the smaller hub, and brake setup.

All 93-00 EX 2-doors (coupes) have the larger front brakes & knuckles even if they don't have ABS.
92-95 4-door EX's only have the larger front brakes if they have ABS.

hmm, so would my Integra GSR calipers & caliper brackets, & 10.2" rotors fit my 92 civic Si knuckles? my Si does not have ABS.
im going to try it tomorrow. i have a bunch of integra/civic knuckles at the shop, ill take some pics and compare them.
I'm upgrading the brakes on a friends soon to be Honda Challenge H1 car, and im hoping the civic knuckle is the same as the integra one.

if the Si was a 94-95 then there is a chance.
For me at least its pretty easy to tell, the bigger stuff is well noticeably bigger, and the small stuff is small.

96-00 EX/SI,
94-01 Integra/Integra R Spindles and front LCA's are all the same.
I don't know about the older Civics, anything prior to 96.
96-00 CX/DX Spindles are different.
96-00 CX/DX front LCA's are differnt - no holes for attaching a sway bar
Let me claify and say that the CX/DX spindles won't bolt in place of the EX/SI unless you change the hubs. The hubs are different on the R and CX/DX compared to the EX/SI/Integra.
I like taking them in matched pairs because then you can assume they came out of the same lot.

The only way they would fit directly on is if you already had the same exact size rotors on the car right now. Try not to worry about all the year/model/trim/option stuff. It makes it really confusing. Civics only get two sizes of front brakes: 9.x" and 10.x". They are noticably different, and can be easily measured with a tape. Both the different size brakes require their own special knuckle.
Conclusion: If you don't already have the size brakes you want, then you will have to get the matching knuckle to make it work...

No.
'92-95 EX 4-doors had ABS standard.
'94-95 LX 4-doors had optional ABS.

All EXes from '90-05 have a 10.3" front rotor. No EX ever came with 9.5" fronts from the factory.
Only the '94 Si w/ABS had a 10.3" front. '92-93 and '95 Si hatches had 9.5" fronts.

No. The '92 EH3 Si had 9.5" fronts. You'll need the knuckles for 10.3" fronts.
