Pfft rookie...

Slow in fast out... I just yank up the ebrake and drift my FWD Accord through corners.

I enter at the speed of cheese and exit with the power of a burger patty.

I don't get the question are you talking about doing this on a public road or on a track, what exactly are we talking about here.

Well thats because all of us have spend entirely too much time racing and have realized that young spring chickens like yourself think because this is a racing forum we will give you advice on how to drive like a moron on the street and yes before you interject this is a huge run on sentence and I am not sure why I haven't stopped yet.

I'd prefer the former choice but history says you wouldn't listen anyway.

You're a flaming idiot.

Road Racing != Driving fast on public roads

And seriously, I know its the offseason, but the frequency of all this jackassery and tomfoolery seems to have risen rather rapidly. What gives?

I think it has little to do with the off season. These kids just presume we will give them bad advice like their peers do.

For some reason, it always seems to come in waves.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by 2slow4u &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">i enter at 45 anf exit at 40 mph</TD></TR></TABLE>

You have much to learn. Check out your local track events. Often they allow people to work corner stations and things in exchange for free track time, so none of that "it's so expensive" crap.

I once went to an open track day where some kids were pulling the e-brake on their Hondas to get through the tightest turn on the track... they felt that it worked so well that they went around recommending it to everyone else. Needless to say, they got passed... a lot.

This is Road Racing/Autocross Forum not How To Drive on the Street Like An ***/Autocross Forum.

Road racing is not the same as driving fast on the street. Got it? Good.

And if you want a more concrete answer for your original question. There are too many variables, too many dangers, too many obstacles to say what speed. Save the stupid antics for the track and when I mean track I mean a sanctioned event at a ROAD COURSE not the street.

For us to give you pointers on how to drive on the street you would need to go to DRIVER'S 101 type course or take your driver's eduction class over again.

What the heck kind of burger joints do they have in your area with pimpy French cheese?

I don't know that I've seen too many 90 degree turns... but I guess Left Hook at VIR is kindof a 90... I have no idea how fast I'm going through there though. I would guess it's 40-something but that's not a place where I take the time to look down at the speedo.
