do all vtec solenoids come with the green plug? i just bought a gsr motor from hmotors and i noticed that there isnt a green plug on the vtec solenoid. it doesnt look like anythin goes there because i dont see any thread inside the little hole.

 

No they dont. JDM V-tec Solenoids do not have the oil pressure sensor. YOu have to either get a USdm solenoid or a eg solenoid. The actual vtec solenoid is the top part and that can bolt up to any bottom part, which is the oil pressure sensor housing, but the housing isnt sold separate....so basically you have to buy the whole thing or find someone to part it out

 

so i would need a new vtec sol. with the green plug to have vtec? i have a b16 one with the green plug i was thinkin bout just transfering that one to my gsr head?

 

just transfer it then it shouldnt any problems
