Default Tein Suspension

I'm looking to get a set of springs and shocks in the near future. Should I go with Tein Basics or SS? Or is there any others I should consider that would be in that same price range? The car would only be driven on the street and its a 4th gen.

Another good choice would be GC's + Konis.

flex! they include pillowball mounts, speeding install time. also, if you ever want to put your stock suspension back in, you dont need to mess with recompressing the stock spring to put the top hat back on (its sort of a bitch)

If you care about NVH then i wouldnt recommend the basics, they are pretty harsh over any imperfection in the road, but on a good road your in heaven!

Sounds good. I am still undecided but I'm much closer than before. Thanks!

if he isn't going to be trackin the car i don't see the need for the flex....and for pillow mounts you can order those from Tein as well

I have tein SS, front strut bar, rear tie bar, rear sway bar. Lets just say im capable of taking certain corners so fast that im to scared to do it It handles really good, i cant even imagine how much better the flex is.

I felt why get konis, have to send them out to get revalved when i could spend the same and get 16way adjustable teins? And plus, isnt the adjuster on the side of the shuck UNDER the car, id rather pop the hood if thats the case.

on my KONI's they are adjustable from the top under the hood and in the trunk. same as the SS. Koni's struts are far superior to the SS in all track situations............end of story

man, you were so wrong about that suspension choice if those were really your reasons for choosing the SS...

16 way adjustable teins or infinitely adjustable konis with a shitload more adjustability range...

i don't make you want to regret your choice, since on the street the SS is fine (though you should stop trying to corner at the limit on the street)--but on a track there's no comparison b/w the tein SS and a koni setup. i'll also take an OTS koni shock+GC over the FLEX too, but that's just me...

also, the konis only need a revalve if you're going above 600#/in springrates--last i checked the FLEX spring rates they were 10kg/mm and 6kg/mm (which, aside from being a terrible pair of spring rates, is less than 600#/in.)
