Default Bike turbo question.

Posting this for a friend. Has an 05 Gixxer 600. Pretty deep into mods right now as far as bolt ons go. He has a regular ride that he carves corners with and this is his 1/4 bitch...he asks this question.

Looking on just running 6-8 psi next year on a mostly stock motor (maybe a head spacer to lower the compression...but that'd be it). I don't need a t3/t4 or 60 trim or anything mondo ******* huge like that. My question is...i was really into dsm's and i can have a guy build my manifold for pretty good and get an adapter plate that will fit a 13g onto it, (the turbo of the 1st gen automatic dsm's). Question is...is there anything smaller in the world of bike turbo's? Or what....or is what i'm looking at a good small size. (Its internally gated at 6psi so I don't have to worry about the dump tube or anything for an external wastegate.)

Pretty much what i guess he is getting at is there anything smaller for a bike than a 13g off of that car. Tks for any opinions.

I know that Hyundai made a little turbo hatchback (a guy at my work had/has one), so did dodge (not a colt but something similiar). I can't remember the names of the cars for the life of me though. Trying to find them on google now.

EDIT: I think it's called a Dodge COLT GT Turbo, it's gotta have a smaller engine than the DSM, so I assume the turbo would be smaller too.

I know the ko3 from the volkswagon 1.8t is pretty tiny, but it still might be too big. Also, you could try a stock twin from a 3000gtvr4, as I have heard those are quite small. Good luck.

T-25 from a 2G DSM seen a few people doing this, works good, spools nice about $100-$200 for one in good shape saw a 600 make 50 exta HP on that at 8 psi a 190 Walbro pump and a Dyno Jet Comander 3 to control it.

There are many small turbos out there. And I'm not just talking the used stuff. You can get brand new tiny turbos. BTW they aren't cheaper cause they're smaller. You can get a t3/t4 cheaper than a t12.
