Default Project Civic

My friend Seb has been working on getting his Civic going again. Looking it over he decided it would be best to go from auto to manual, D15B to ZC, repair the rust, blue to black interior, and just pretty much overhaul the whole car.

So we started about a month ago and maybe got 4 hours in. Most of the time was just screwing around and not really working too much. We had conflicting scheduels and nothing was going the way it was supposed to when we did have time to meet.

So tonight we met up at about 8pm and worked solid at it untill about 2am. We got all this done today, except we had the front clip off already and some engine stuff removed. We got the interior completely stripped minus the dash which is coming out shortly. We finally removed the axel that we couldnt get off. We broke 2 breaker bars in the process but an electric impact gun popped it off in about 2min. I know its not much to look at but hopefully ZC will be a nice change. He actually has a 14sec Lude that he daily drives and this is his winter beater. So we need it done in like a month. Anyways here are the pics.

Not up to me to decide. He wants it done, needed a place to do it. I have a large barn to work in and he is my buddy and needed help so Im helping him out. Its more of a "Hey look what I accomplished." thing more than anything else. Just a project that you can start with a POS and when you are done have something decent.

We should have it up and running by Sunday night sometime. The interior floor is not rusted nor is any of the interior. The carpet pad was saturated with some sort of oil that they use for rust protection and its all over the floor in there mixed with some glue, tar, and brake cleaner. Thats why it looks so shitty inside.

Its 6 large bays though .
